Founded by Nellie Schmidt in 2021, Stonewall Equine Services LLC is the result of over a decade of equine education, hands-on experience, and a deep commitment to thoughtful horsemanship. Raised in the Texas Hill Country, Nellie traveled across the United States—including time spent training in the horse capital of the world, Kentucky—in pursuit of mentorship that not only supported her, but challenged her to grow.

In the often divisive world of modern equestrianism, she is committed to seeking clarity and truth in training through compassionate, communicative, and practical methods. Every program is designed to meet both horse and rider where they are—emphasizing emotional regulation, clear communication, and long-term partnership.
