Training services are offered both on-site and mobile, depending on program selection. Mobile sessions take place at the client’s facility, while a limited number of programs are available at the Stonewall Equine Services location in Adkins, Tx.
Private and semi-private lessons are offered in a structured program format, with limited availability on school horses as well as options for clients working with their own horses. Haul in lessons are an option too.

Board & Train Development Program
Provides structured, full-immersion training designed to build a solid foundation in communication, emotional regulation, and rideability. Horses will receive consistent, thoughtful work while owners gain guidance and education to support lasting progress and a smooth transition home.

On-site School Horse Lesson Program
Offers riders the opportunity to develop feel, timing, and confidence on well-prepared horses. Lessons emphasize clear communication, balanced biomechanics, and emotional awareness, creating a supportive environment where riders can build practical, transferable horsemanship skills with consistency.

Mobile Program:
Lessons & Training
Brings training and lessons directly to your facility, providing customized support for both horse and rider. Sessions focus on communication, problem-solving, and practical application, helping you create meaningful progress in your everyday environment while maintaining consistency and long-term development.
Board & Train Development Program

Groundwork Development Program - $950/month - Consists of 4 sessions per week. Focused on emotional regulation work, foundational handling, trailer loading, obstacle confidence. Includes owner lesson (1x/week). Ideal for young horses, restarts, horses needing boundaries & connection.

Ridden Development Program - $1200/month - Includes 4–5 sessions per week, comprising of a mixture of groundwork & under saddle work, biomechanical development, dressage foundation and nervous system regulation. Includes owner lesson (1x/week). Ideal for horses building or rebuilding under-saddle foundation. (Partial or half training available on case-by-case basis)

Colt Starting Program (90 Days minimum) - $1200/month ($3600 total) - Similar to RDP, this program will teach progressive groundwork, first rides, foundation of steering & brakes, exposure work, owner education, transition plan. Like all programs, this will be tailored to each horse's needs and learning style, Includes owner lesson (1x/week). Ideal for 2.5 to 4 year olds ready for ethical, slow-start development.
All pricing for Board & Train Development programs include standard full care board at quiet, Private Facility in Adkins, Texas.

On-site School Horse Lesson Program
Limited availability! Lesson horses provided.
Facility is quiet, private and safe, located on the Northside of San Antonio.

30 minute Mini Lessons - $45 - These includes tacking/untacking time and about 10-15 minutes of ride time. These are perfect for younger riders. Beginner riders are strongly encouraged to pair this with the Horse Theory Add-On.

Back-to-Back Mini Lessons - $80 - These last 60 minutes for 2 students and include time to tack/untack. Both students will tack the horse together and then ride for 15-20 mins each in a private lesson (one at a time). After both students ride, they will untack the horse together. Beginner riders are strongly encouraged to pair this with the Horse Theory Add-On.

60 minute Private Lessons - $85 - These includes time to tack/untack and about 35-45 minutes of ride time. Lessons are available to riders of all ages and abilities. Emphasis in Western Dressage, Ranch Riding, or Obstacles is available.

Horse Theory Add-on - $25 - This is available to be added onto any of the above lessons. It includes 30 minutes of ground based equine education in horse identification, care and maintenance. Perfect for the young rider or inquisitive adult!

Monthly Lesson Packages – 4, 6, or 8 lesson package options available with a reserved weekly lesson time. Lessons are tailored to riders of all ages and abilities.
4 Lessons – $320 | 6 Lessons – $465 | 8 Lessons – $600
Minimum age of 5 years old.
Helmets are required for students under 18 years old, but are strongly encouraged for all.
Riders must wear closed toe shoes with a heel (no chunky or high heels, please)



Mobile Program: Lessons & Training

Individual Training Session - $65/session - One hour in length. Includes mounted and unmounted training, with a focus on biomechanics and fundamentals of Western Dressage. Trainer will provide any additional equipment if needed. Good option for occasional upkeep schooling, NOT recommended for horses needing ongoing training.

Monthly Training Package - $60/session - One hour in length. Minimum of 3 month training commitment for green horses. Includes mounted and unmounted training, with a focus on biomechanics and fundamentals of Western Dressage. Trainer will provide any additional equipment if needed.

60 minute Private Lesson - $70 - Taught on client owned horse, at client facility. May contain mounted and unmounted teaching elements. Usually about 45 minutes of mounted lesson time for the client.

90 minute Hybrid Lesson- $90 - Taught on client owned horse, at client facility. Includes both training and teaching elements. Trainer will provide schooling rides within the allotted time, as needed. Usually about 60 minutes of mounted lesson time for the client.

75 minute Family Lesson - $60/rider - Taught on client owned horse, at client facility. May contain mounted and unmounted teaching elements. Usually about 45-55 minutes of mounted lesson time for the client. Ideal for siblings or couples.
Helmets are required for students under 18 years old, but are strongly encouraged for all. Available for horses from 3 years old and up (groundwork only for under 3). Riders in lessons must be at least 5 years old. Facility must have an arena, round pen or flat riding area that is free of rocks or holes.
Travel fee dependent on location.
